Waboba Asia Video Contest Closing Date Moved to December 31
We have decided to push back the final entry date for the Waboba Asia Video Contest 2011. If you haven’t entered the competition yet, you now have three extra months to come up with something. Entries must be in by December 31, 2011.
Moving the date makes it easier for contestants from Australia and Thailand to make their entries. Waboba season is just getting started there. If you are from Europe or the Americas and you’ll be traveling in Asia over the winter, make sure you bring your video camera, because you are also eligible to enter the Waboba Asia Video Contest 2011, as long as you make your video while you are in Asia.
The competition winner will receive an amazing holiday for two in Phuket, including flights for two to Phuket from anywhere in Asia, plus two nights in a five-star hotel, plus 700USD in cash.

Help Us Find a Venue for Thailand’s First Waboba Tournament
We need your help. We are looking for a venue for Thailand’s first Waboba tournament. It would probably need to be in either Phuket or Krabi. Ideally, what we need is a resort to host the event on a calm beachfront with shallow sea. It would ideally be a weekend event, with teams from around Asia staying at the resort for the duration. The ideal time for the event would be in November 2012. This is what a Waboba tournament looks like in Portugal. If you can think of a venue in Thailand that would be suitable for a fairly large competition, please let us know.
World’s Longest Waboba Bounce
As far as we know, this is the world’s longest recorded string of Waboba bounces. If you think you have a claim to the world record, why not send us the video to prove it.

Get social for International Waboba Day, this coming Friday, for a chance to win some exciting prizes.
