Display’s the Thing for Fast-Moving Balls

It probably goes without saying that we get major variations in Waboba Ball sales volume depending on the positioning of the display within each shop.

So here are some photographs of the display positioning in two shops in Sanya, Hainan, where sales have been consistently strong.

The first picture shows the video display at the Mandarin Oriental.

The video screen is just to the left of the main check-out counter, so it’s the perfect place for visitors to pick up a ball as they are getting ready to pay. The video screen doesn’t take up much space, but it certainly gets its share of attention.

This second picture is from the Banyan Tree Gallery, Sanya. Here, the video display is right opposite the check-out counter, which is just out of the picture to the right.

And here’s a picture of the Organic Island organic cotton animals on display at the Mandarin Oriental. We’ll be bringing these toys to Thailand as soon as we have the right approvals from the Thai Industrial Standards Institute.
